This is a picture from inside one of the ice caves at the Mendenhall Glacier. We crawled down through another entrance and this was the exit. It was incredible!
The deep blue colors are from the denser portions of the ice. The bluer the ice, the denser it is. As the light trickles through, it casts a blue hue on everything inside the cave.
